Meet the Principal

Dr. Patrick Keenoy
Principal of Rogers Elementary School
Dr. Patrick Keenoy is the principal of Rogers Elementary School in the Mehlville School District. He has more than 20 years of experience in education, including over 15 years of leadership within Mehlville School District. Since 2013, he has led Rogers Elementary with a focus on academic growth, student well-being and creating a strong sense of belonging for all students and staff.
Dr. Keenoy began his career as a social studies teacher before moving into school leadership. He previously served as assistant principal at both Washington Middle School and Trautwein Elementary School. Throughout his career, he has prioritized collaboration, data-informed instruction and positive school culture. He helped introduce a daily “Targeted Learning Time” at Rogers, where students receive focused support or enrichment based on their needs. Under his leadership, Rogers was named a National School of Character and continues to be a place where strong relationships, high expectations and joyful learning are at the center of the school day.
Dr. Keenoy holds a Ph.D. in educational leadership and a B.A. in history and political science from Saint Louis University, as well as an M.Ed. in secondary school administration from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He also completed the School Leadership and Management certificate program through Harvard University.
Outside of school, he enjoys reading, running marathons, and spending time with his family.
